| High street bride: Inditex heiress to wed in Zara |
Forget the likes of Vera Wang or Jenny Packham as WWD reports February 10 that Marta Ortega, daughter of Inditex fashion boss Amancio Ortega, will marry equestrian Sergio Alvarez Moya in a gown made by Zara.
The wedding, set to take place February 18, will see Ortega walk down the aisle in a frock made by the global chain -- which is one of Inditex's largest retailers along with Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti and Bershka.
Details on the gown are top secret and fashionistas shouldn't get too excited about a range of wedding dresses hitting Zara stores.
"The whole idea is absolutely crazy", replied a spokesman when asked whether Ortega's nuptials would signal the launch of Zara bridal.
